My Story
There was a time when I barely recognized myself.
I felt unhappy, ashamed, and completely lost. I questioned my worth, my decisions, and whether choosing a different life would make me selfish.
Eventually, I had to be honest with myself: I could no longer remain in an environment that did not feel healthy or peaceful. I knew that if I wanted to become the best version of myself and the mother I wanted to be, I had to make a change.
Choosing myself was one of the hardest things I have ever done.
Starting over was not easy.
I carried an unbearable amount of guilt and shame. I felt judged, isolated, and misunderstood. I was told that leaving meant I was giving up and breaking apart my family.
For a while, I believed those things.
I questioned whether I was worthy of being a good mother. At the same time, I was trying to navigate my emotional health, finances, motherhood, and an entirely new chapter of my life. There were moments when it all felt like too much.
But even in that difficult season, I was not alone.
The people who loved me showed up for me in ways I will never forget. They listened without judgment, reminded me of my strength, and helped me take life one day at a time.
Healing required me to participate in my own rescue.
I prayed. I cried. I grieved the life I thought I would have.
I stopped isolating myself and allowed other people to love and support me. I went to therapy and sought professional help. I began exercising, meditating, reading, listening to podcasts, and learning everything I could about healing and personal growth.
On some of my hardest days, healing simply meant getting out of bed, getting dressed, and leaving the house.
Little by little, I began finding myself again.
Today, I see my story differently.
I no longer view myself as the victim or the villain. I am simply a woman who learned, grew, and took accountability for her part in the life she was creating.
I recognized the areas where I needed to heal. I apologized where I needed to apologize. I sought help, changed unhealthy patterns, and committed to becoming better. That work continues today.
My life is more peaceful now. I know who I am, I value myself, and I understand that protecting my peace is not selfish.
I am a mother, a woman, and an entrepreneur who continues to step outside her comfort zone and create a life she genuinely loves. I still face challenges, but I trust myself to find a way forward.
Why I created this space
I created this community to become the person I needed during one of the hardest seasons of my life.
I want women to know that choosing themselves is okay. Starting over does not make them failures. Asking for help is not weakness, and they do not need to carry shame for wanting a healthier, more peaceful life.
I do not have all the answers, and I am not here to tell another woman what decision she should make. I am here to share what I have learned, offer hope, and remind her that she is loved, worthy, and enough.
If my story helps one woman say, “She did it, so can I,” then sharing it is worth it.
Healing is possible. A beautiful life can exist on the other side of a difficult chapter.
Choose yourself, without losing yourself.
